VALORANT Champions 2026 Qualification Scenarios: Every Remaining Path

A complete breakdown of the remaining qualification scenarios for VALORANT Champions 2026 across VCT Americas, EMEA and Pacific. From teams already qualified to every remaining path involving playoff placements and Championship Points, here is what each contender needs to secure their ticket.
The race for the remaining VALORANT Champions 2026 spots is entering its final stage across Americas, EMEA and Pacific.
Some teams have already locked their places through Championship Points, while others must either reach a specific playoff position or rely on a particular combination of results elsewhere in the bracket.
The important factor is that qualification is not simply about finishing as high as possible. In several regions, particularly Americas and Pacific, the exact teams finishing 3rd and 4th can completely change the Championship Points outcome.
Below is the full qualification picture based on the current playoff teams and the remaining valid scenarios.
Already Qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026
Several teams have already secured their Champions tickets.
| Region | Team | Qualification Status |
|---|---|---|
| EMEA | FUT Esports | Qualified |
| EMEA | Team Vitality | Qualified |
| Pacific | Paper Rex | Qualified |
| China | Four qualified teams | Qualification already settled |
FUT Esports secured qualification by reaching the EMEA top four, while Team Vitality's position was confirmed after BBL Esports fell below the relevant playoff positions.
Paper Rex had already secured its Champions ticket before the remaining Pacific Championship Points race.
The four China representatives are also already clear, leaving the remaining qualification drama focused on Americas, EMEA and Pacific.
VCT Americas Champions Qualification Scenarios
VCT Americas has the most interconnected Championship Points race.
The remaining qualification battle involves:
- LEVIATÁN
- G2 Esports
- NRG
- Evil Geniuses
- 100 Thieves
- FURIA
- MIBR
- LOUD
For several of these teams, reaching the top four is not automatically the entire story. The final outcome depends on which teams occupy the 3rd and 4th positions.
LEVIATÁN
LEV have a direct route through the playoffs.
A top-four finish confirms their Champions qualification.
If LEV finish below the top four, they must rely on the results of G2 Esports and NRG.
LEVIATÁN Champions Scenario
IF LEVIATÁN finish in the top four, THEN they qualify for VALORANT Champions. IF LEV finish below the top four, THEN they need a favourable result from G2 Esports and NRG. At least one of G2 or NRG must finish in the top two or below the top four, preventing both teams from occupying the two critical 3rd and 4th positions.
| LEVIATÁN Result | Champions Outcome |
|---|---|
| Top 4 | Qualified |
| Below Top 4 | Needs G2/NRG to produce a favourable result |
| G2 and NRG occupy both 3rd and 4th | LEV are eliminated from the qualifying scenario |
The key danger for LEV is therefore a playoff finish where both G2 and NRG take 3rd and 4th while LEV finish outside the top four.
G2 Esports
G2 can secure their Champions place through their own playoff result, but their position is also directly connected to LEVIATÁN and NRG.
G2 Esports Champions Scenario
IF G2 Esports finish in 3rd or 4th place, THEN they can secure their Champions qualification. IF G2 finish below the top four, THEN either LEVIATÁN must reach the top two or NRG must fail to occupy the 3rd and 4th positions.
| G2 Result | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 3rd or 4th | Qualification path secured |
| Below Top 4 | LEV finish Top 2 |
| Below Top 4 | OR NRG does not finish 3rd or 4th |
G2 therefore benefit from either a deep LEV run or an NRG result that keeps them away from the decisive 3rd/4th positions.
NRG
NRG also have a relatively clean qualification route.
NRG Champions Scenario
IF NRG finish in 3rd or 4th place, THEN they have a direct Champions qualification path. IF NRG finish below the top four, THEN either LEVIATÁN or G2 Esports must finish in the top two.
| NRG Result | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 3rd or 4th | Qualification path secured |
| Below Top 4 | LEV or G2 must finish Top 2 |
NRG's fallback scenario is therefore straightforward: if they cannot reach the top four, they need one of LEV or G2 to occupy a top-two position.
Evil Geniuses
Evil Geniuses have the simplest requirement among the lower Championship Points contenders.
Evil Geniuses Champions Scenario
IF Evil Geniuses finish in the top two, THEN they qualify for VALORANT Champions. A finish outside the top two does not secure qualification through this scenario.
| Evil Geniuses Result | Champions Status |
|---|---|
| Top 2 | Qualified |
| Below Top 2 | Does not qualify through this path |
EG therefore need a run to the Upper/Lower Final level and ultimately a top-two finish to secure their Champions ticket.
100 Thieves
100 Thieves have multiple qualification routes based on the final distribution of LEV, G2, NRG and the other lower Championship Points contenders.
100 Thieves Champions Scenario
IF 100 Thieves finish in 3rd or 4th place, THEN they qualify if two of LEVIATÁN, G2 Esports and NRG finish in the top two. 100 Thieves can also qualify through a favourable result where two of LEV/G2/NRG finish in the top two while FURIA, MIBR and LOUD do not occupy the blocking 3rd and 4th positions.
| 100 Thieves Result | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 3rd or 4th | Two of LEV/G2/NRG finish Top 2 |
| Favourable wider scenario | FURIA/MIBR/LOUD do not create the blocking 3rd/4th combination |
The central idea for 100T is that two of LEV, G2 and NRG finishing in the top two removes two major Championship Points competitors from the 3rd/4th race.
FURIA
FURIA's qualification depends on whether they finish 3rd or 4th, with different blocking teams in each scenario.
FURIA Champions Scenario
IF FURIA finish in 3rd place, THEN two of LEVIATÁN, G2 Esports and NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves must not finish 4th. IF FURIA finish in 4th place, THEN two of LEV/G2/NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves, MIBR and LOUD must not occupy 3rd place.
| FURIA Result | Required Conditions |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T not 4th |
| 4th | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T/MIBR/LOUD not 3rd |
FURIA's path is therefore heavily dependent on who takes the opposite 3rd or 4th position.
LOUD
LOUD follow a similar structure to FURIA, but their blocking conditions involve different teams.
LOUD Champions Scenario
IF LOUD finish in 3rd place, THEN two of LEVIATÁN, G2 Esports and NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves, FURIA and MIBR do not finish 4th. IF LOUD finish in 4th place, THEN two of LEV/G2/NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves, FURIA and MIBR do not finish 3rd.
| LOUD Result | Required Conditions |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T/FURIA/MIBR not 4th |
| 4th | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T/FURIA/MIBR not 3rd |
LOUD need both a strong playoff finish and a favourable distribution among the other Championship Points contenders.
MIBR
MIBR also have separate scenarios for finishing 3rd or 4th.
MIBR Champions Scenario
IF MIBR finish in 3rd place, THEN two of LEVIATÁN, G2 Esports and NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves must not finish 4th. IF MIBR finish in 4th place, THEN two of LEV/G2/NRG must finish in the top two, while 100 Thieves, FURIA and LOUD must not finish 3rd.
| MIBR Result | Required Conditions |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T not 4th |
| 4th | Two of LEV/G2/NRG Top 2 + 100T/FURIA/LOUD not 3rd |
The key for MIBR is again ensuring that the remaining 3rd/4th position is not taken by the wrong Championship Points rival.
Americas Qualification Matrix
| Team | Main Qualification Route |
|---|---|
| LEVIATÁN | Top 4, or favourable G2/NRG distribution |
| G2 Esports | 3rd/4th, or LEV Top 2 / NRG outside 3rd-4th |
| NRG | 3rd/4th, or LEV/G2 Top 2 |
| Evil Geniuses | Must finish Top 2 |
| 100 Thieves | 3rd/4th with favourable LEV/G2/NRG and rival placements |
| FURIA | 3rd or 4th with specific 100T/MIBR/LOUD placement conditions |
| LOUD | 3rd or 4th with specific 100T/FURIA/MIBR placement conditions |
| MIBR | 3rd or 4th with specific 100T/FURIA/LOUD placement conditions |
The defining feature of Americas is simple:
It is not enough to ask who finishes 3rd or 4th. You must ask which exact teams finish 3rd and 4th.
VCT EMEA Champions Qualification Scenarios
The EMEA race is now more straightforward, with FUT Esports and Team Vitality already qualified.
The remaining scenarios involve Team Heretics, Fire Flux Esports and Team Liquid.
FUT Esports — Qualified
FUT Esports
FUT Esports have already qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026 after securing a top-four playoff finish.
Team Vitality — Qualified
Team Vitality
Team Vitality have already qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026 after BBL Esports fell below the relevant top-four qualification positions.
Team Heretics
Team Heretics are now dependent entirely on the remaining EMEA playoff results.
Team Heretics Champions Scenario
IF FUT Esports finish in the top two AND Karmine Corp and Fire Flux Esports finish in 3rd and 4th place, THEN Team Heretics qualify for VALORANT Champions.
This is a pure results-dependent scenario, as Heretics require the remaining EMEA placements to fall exactly in their favour.
Fire Flux Esports
Fire Flux control their own route, but only through a deep playoff run.
Fire Flux Esports Champions Scenario
IF Fire Flux Esports finish in the top two, THEN they qualify for VALORANT Champions.
| Fire Flux Result | Champions Outcome |
|---|---|
| Top 2 | Qualified |
| Below Top 2 | Does not qualify through this direct route |
Team Liquid
Team Liquid need both their own playoff result and help from FUT Esports.
Team Liquid Champions Scenario
IF Team Liquid finish in the top three AND FUT Esports finish in the top two, THEN Team Liquid qualify for VALORANT Champions.
| Team Liquid Result | Additional Requirement |
|---|---|
| Top 3 | FUT must finish Top 2 |
| Below Top 3 | This qualification path closes |
VCT Pacific Champions Qualification Scenarios
Paper Rex are already qualified, but the remaining Championship Points race is still open between the teams alive in the playoff bracket.
The relevant remaining teams include:
- Nongshim RedForce
- T1
- Global Esports
- VARREL
- Gen.G
- DRX
The qualification scenarios below only consider the teams still relevant to the remaining playoff and Championship Points race.
Paper Rex — Qualified
Paper Rex
Paper Rex have already secured their place at VALORANT Champions 2026.
Nongshim RedForce
Nongshim RedForce can qualify through a 3rd or 4th-place finish, but they need at least two favourable conditions.
Nongshim RedForce Champions Scenario
IF Nongshim RedForce finish in 3rd or 4th place, THEN two of the following conditions must be met: Paper Rex finish in the top two, Global Esports do not finish 3rd, and T1 do not finish 3rd or 4th.
| Nongshim Result | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 3rd or 4th | Any two favourable conditions must be met |
| Below Top 4 | Does not qualify through this listed scenario |
The three favourable conditions are:
- Paper Rex finish Top 2.
- Global Esports do not finish 3rd.
- T1 do not finish 3rd or 4th.
T1
T1 have multiple valid qualification paths.
T1 Champions Scenario
IF T1 finish in 3rd or 4th place AND Paper Rex finish in the top two, THEN T1 can qualify. IF T1 finish 4th AND Nongshim RedForce do not finish 3rd, THEN another path is available. T1 can also qualify if Paper Rex or Nongshim RedForce finish in the top two while Global Esports do not finish in the top four.
T1 therefore have several combinations available depending on whether PRX or Nongshim occupy a top-two position.
Global Esports
Global Esports have the cleanest Pacific route through a 3rd-place finish, while 4th place opens several conditional scenarios.
Global Esports Champions Scenario
IF Global Esports finish 3rd, THEN they qualify through their direct scenario. IF GE finish 4th, THEN they can qualify if Nongshim RedForce or Paper Rex finish in the top two. Another path exists if one of PRX or Nongshim finish in the top two while T1 do not finish 3rd. Further combinations depend on which teams among PRX, Nongshim, T1, Gen.G and DRX avoid the blocking 3rd and 4th positions.
Global Esports therefore benefit significantly from either a 3rd-place finish or a favourable top-two distribution involving Paper Rex and Nongshim RedForce.
VARREL
VARREL require a 3rd-place finish and favourable results elsewhere.
VARREL Champions Scenario
IF VARREL finish in 3rd place, THEN one of Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce or T1 must finish in the top two, while Global Esports and Gen.G must not finish 4th.
VARREL's route is narrow because both conditions must be satisfied.
Gen.G
Gen.G have qualification scenarios through both 3rd and 4th place.
Gen.G Champions Scenario
IF Gen.G finish in 3rd place, THEN one of Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce or T1 must finish in the top two, while Global Esports do not finish 4th. IF Gen.G finish in 4th place, THEN one of PRX, Nongshim RedForce or T1 must finish in the top two, while Global Esports and DRX do not finish 3rd.
| Gen.G Result | Required Conditions |
|---|---|
| 3rd | PRX/NS/T1 Top 2 + GE not 4th |
| 4th | PRX/NS/T1 Top 2 + GE/DRX not 3rd |
DRX
DRX also have separate qualification scenarios for finishing 3rd or 4th.
DRX Champions Scenario
IF DRX finish in 3rd place, THEN one of Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce or T1 must finish in the top two, while Global Esports do not finish 4th. IF DRX finish in 4th place, THEN one of PRX, Nongshim RedForce or T1 must finish in the top two, while Global Esports, Gen.G, DRX and VARREL do not occupy the blocking 3rd-place result.
The Pacific Championship Points race is therefore extremely sensitive to the exact teams finishing 3rd and 4th.
Champions Qualification Overview
| Team | Main Path |
|---|---|
| FUT Esports | Qualified |
| Team Vitality | Qualified |
| Paper Rex | Qualified |
| LEVIATÁN | Top 4 or favourable G2/NRG result |
| G2 Esports | 3rd/4th or favourable LEV/NRG result |
| NRG | 3rd/4th or LEV/G2 Top 2 |
| Evil Geniuses | Must finish Top 2 |
| 100 Thieves | 3rd/4th plus favourable rival placements |
| FURIA | 3rd/4th plus specific 100T/MIBR/LOUD results |
| LOUD | 3rd/4th plus specific 100T/FURIA/MIBR results |
| MIBR | 3rd/4th plus specific 100T/FURIA/LOUD results |
| Team Heretics | FUT Top 2 + KC/Fire Flux 3rd/4th |
| Fire Flux Esports | Must finish Top 2 |
| Team Liquid | Top 3 + FUT Top 2 |
| Nongshim RedForce | 3rd/4th + two favourable conditions |
| T1 | Multiple 3rd/4th-place combinations |
| Global Esports | 3rd directly or several 4th-place scenarios |
| VARREL | 3rd + favourable PRX/NS/T1 and GE/Gen.G results |
| Gen.G | 3rd/4th + specific rival placement conditions |
| DRX | 3rd/4th + specific rival placement conditions |
The Final Champions Race
The final regional playoffs will decide more than just the regional trophies.
In Americas, the biggest factor is the relationship between LEV, G2 and NRG, because their final placements directly determine which lower Championship Points contenders can still pass into the Champions field.
In EMEA, FUT and Vitality are already safe, while Fire Flux, Team Liquid and Team Heretics still depend on the remaining playoff placements.
In Pacific, the race is even more interconnected. Nongshim RedForce, T1, Global Esports, VARREL, Gen.G and DRX can have completely different qualification outcomes from the same placement depending on who takes the other 3rd or 4th position.
The key question for the remaining weeks is therefore not simply:
"Who reaches the top four?"
It is:
"Which exact teams finish 3rd and 4th — and which Championship Points rivals are prevented from reaching those positions?"
