A Stage That Started Well and Fell Apart
Go back three weeks and this looked like a very different story. On July 16, Gentle Mates edged past Pacific Esports 2-1, and bipo was the best player on the server doing it — a 195 ACS, 37 kills against 34 deaths, a plus-8 first-blood differential, and 74% KAST. That's the profile of a duelist in complete control of his lane.
Seven days later against Natus Vincere, the form held. A clean 2-0 sweep, bipo again finishing on the positive side of the kill/death ledger with a 156 ACS and 70% KAST.
